The Land

Vale da Grama, São Paulo

São Sebastião da Grama is a small town in the São Paulo countryside. It is known as the birthplace of the specialty coffee movement in Brazil. The region's fertile soil, mild climate, varying elevations, and abundant sunlight create an ideal environment for coffee production.

The Vale da Grama region is known for exuberant fauna and flora. Programs to reclaim its springs and riverbanks are being undertaken, and environmental conservation classes and ideas about sustainability are passed on to collaborators and their families.
