People & Place
Getachew Zeleke, Dimtu Tero Farm
Agriculture scholar, Getachew Zekele founded Dimtu Coffee Industries in 2012. What first began as a washing and hulling station expanded into a 156-hectare farm, multiple washing stations, organic exporting, and a collaborative network of 786 local smallholder farmers. Dimtu also offers training for organic farming practices and seeds for indigenous shade trees, making them an easy choice for local growers to work with.

The Land
Shakiso District, Guji Zone
This region's exceptional natural environment is perfect for producing unique and high-quality coffee. Guji, as a coffee region, is significantly different than its neighbouring regions, Sidamo and Yirgacheffe. Guji was previously categorized as a sub-region of Sidamo, but has proven itself to be distinct. It has gained a reputation for its characteristic flavour and striking aroma. Historically, Guji has exclusively offered washed and natural coffees.
